Hobbies
On my free time I like to create crafts for my home and gifts. I am also studying to become a certified substitute teacher. I like to engage students by providing examples and problems that involve hobbies, likes, or interests they may have. For instance, one student was having issues with understanding algebra concepts and loved to play hockey, so I created new problems to incorporate what he was learning with Hockey involved. It got him more interested in learning the methods and completing problems and his homework.
