I thoroughly enjoy helping people, and I use my natural patience and compassion to do so. I am extremely determined in helping my students comprehend and master their academic work. I believe it's important for teachers to build bonds with their students, and, as such, I work to form relationships with my students. Doing this helps me know them more personally, and it helps me figure out where they are having difficulties and how to address them. I also realize that students have all different kinds of learning styles, and becoming close to them helps me to tease out what they are in order to better respond. Just as every student is unique, what they need is also unique. Connection and empathy are necessary aspects in the teaching process. I'm qualified to tutor in a variety of subjects, including Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, United States History, Government, World History, Social Students, and English. I can work with students on study skills, organization, and reading. I attended Rutgers University, and I currently live in North Brunswick, New Jersey. My interests outside of teaching are broad. I love to draw, paint, and dance. I also am fascinated by Science, and I love to research and learn about new innovations.
